paint at the Sugarloaf Mountain Winery in Dickerson, MD

I plan to paint there this Sunday beginning at 12 noon when they open. Would anyone like to join me?
Plein Air Olney is sponsoring a paint-out and show at the Winery during their "Stomp" Festival the first two weekends in October, and artists may paint ahead of time for the exhibit, as well as during the event. For more information, contact Tara Holl, [masked]

Weather sunny and blue skies today. Since I signed up for the Olney plein air paint out at the winery during the "Stomp" event the next two weekends, I guess I will be there again next Saturday and/or Sunday, depending on weather.

I am a pastel painter in DC. I plan on attending. This looks like a wonderful opportunity to paint.

I wish I could go to this one. Unfortunately I will be busy on Sunday afternoon.

From where I live, I will probably just go north from Rockville on 355 and turn left at Clarksburg on Comus Road. Sugarloaf Mountain Winery is on the right about 4-1/2 miles from 355
I have never been there, but at Google images, search Sugarloaf Mountain Winery MD, there is a red barn, the grape arbors, and a view of Sugarloaf Mountain. I hope the trees will have a little fall color.

I just checked the Google map. It is fine. Google probably just can't "find" your house, so zoom out when viewing the map in order to see your neighborhood. I'm guessing that you would want to take I-70 West toward Frederick, then turn south on I-270. Get off at exit 22 Barnesville. Turn left on MD 109 South (Old Hundred Road), then turn right on Comus Road.
