Environmental Sculptures and Installations that will engage, enliven and excite residents of Baltimore

Art on the Gwynns Falls Trail is Baltimores largest outdoor free public environmental sculptural exhibition featuring work from over 20 local artists. Installations will include pieces constructed entirely from found materials from urban areas, highlighting the impermanence of our natural and built environments.  The exhibition takes place in the beautiful Winans Meadow, a natural oasis located in Gwynns Falls/ Leakin Park.  The meadow is the perfect place for this family oriented event that encourages all of Baltimore to discover the natural wonders in the heart of the city.

The opening celebration on Art on the Gwynns Falls Trail will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 between 11am-5pm in Winans Meadow (Trailhead 2) on the Gwynns Falls Trail. Come and join us for tours that wind through the meadow and along the trail, performances by artists with the Media Sprout Festival and other fun activities. The tours and free activities run throughout the day with a concentration between 11-2pm and a gathering and performance to acknowledge the artists between 2-5pm.

The address is: 4500 N. Franklintown RoadBaltimore, MD 21229.
