  This is wonderful! Oil pastels and I have never gotten along, so I am doubly impressed with this piece. Very wonderful light in this. P.S. Sorry I didn't make it; I did not realize that Wheaton was 90 minutes from me. :(

  Thanks - glad you like it! I am really looking forward to getting out to paint again in the spring. I received a gift of a set of oil sticks, which are new to me. Have any of you had any experience with them?

  Have never worked with oil sticks but just bought one (black). Have been studying with some abstract painters and they use them frequently.
