Welcome!

This group is primarily for people to get together and enjoy arts/cultural events in and around London. Such events might include gallaries, exhibitions, concerts / live music, cinema, theatre, socials, etc.

In addition to any 'meetups' hosted by one of the organisers, any member of the group is welcome to invite others in attending a particular event (and if there is sufficient interest in that event, perhaps an official 'meetup' around it can be organised on behalf of the group).

Also, any member is welcome to host a 'meetup' for a particular event on behalf of the group (and if prepared to do so on a regular basis, is encouraged to become an assistant organiser). Members may also post details of events/activies or other art/cultural-related items on the Message Board or to the group mailing list (so long as they do not spam the rest of the group).

Of course, the success of any Meetup group is largely dependent on the level of enthusiasm and active participation of its members.
