Bushwick Open Studios. Walk, talk, walk some more, talk, walk.

At 12:30 we will meet at 1027 Grand Street, just north of Morgan Ave, in East Williamsburg. There are many studios in this building & at 274 Morgan. Bring your 40,000 mile hiking shoes, because we will then walk to 3rd Ward for a quick visit.

Continuing another 8 blocks on post-industrial, yet pre-civilized Morgan Avenue to the new & fabulously expensive Bushwick outpost of Luhring Augustine. We will see many open studios in the 56 Bogart building. There's some pub and food options in that area, if we need a break. (Oh yeah)!

We will be sure to see the sculptures of Meetup Organizer Edward along the way. We will try to get to something called Bushwick Basel Art Fair Show Extravaganza. And finally, there's a Vegan Pizza Party in the evening, and probably live bands, or maybe just nap time.

If you are lost, which is never a good idea in Bushwick, you can contact me (text preferred) at[masked]-8453.

This is gonna be the best ever Open Studios in history. It's a sure-shot bet!

I remember this being amazing a couple of years ago, and I think that, this year, it was even more so, with many talented artists and interesting people involved. As was the case then, having an organizer who really knows where he's going means that we can just follow and enjoy without needing to worry about where we are on the six different maps!

    Here's a funny article about the BOS2012 program & map: http://bushwickdaily.com/5-ways-how-to-navigate-through-bos2012/

Unfortunately, I had to drop out because a friend had other plans, so I can't give it all the stars I would like.

Great meetup everyone! A great crowd, fun people, really interesting art, and delish, cheap grub and drinks.

Look forward to doing some more again.
