Join ArtForward and Wired NY members for a visit to Brooklyn, USA.

At the Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturdays, thousands of visitors enjoy free programs of art and entertainment each month from 5 to 11 p.m. All evening long, the Museum Caf? serves a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and a cash bar offers wine and beer.

Current Exhibitions Are:
Kiki Smith: Sojourn. At the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, 4th Floor.
To Live Forever: Art and the Afterlife in Ancient Egypt. At the Robert E. Blum Gallery, 1st Floor.
Healing the Wounds of War: The Brooklyn Sanitary Fair of 1864, Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Herstory Gallery, 4th Floor.
Body Parts: Ancient Egyptian Fragments and Amulets, Special Exhibitions Hall, Egyptian Galleries, 3rd Floor.

Some Target First Saturday programs require tickets. Ticket lines often form 30 minutes before ticket distribution at the Visitor Center located in the Rubin Lobby. Members may pick up tickets from the Membership Desk beginning at 2 p.m. while supplies last.

By Subway
Take the 2 or 3 to Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum. Transfers to the 2 and 3 are available from the 4 and 5 (at Nevins Street) and the B, D, Q, N, R, and LIRR (at Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street). See a subway map. Check MTA service advisories for the most up-to-date subway travel information.

By Bus
The nearest bus stops to the Museum are:
B71 in front of the Museum
B41 and B69 at Grand Army Plaza
B48 at Franklin Avenue and Eastern Parkway

Parking
Limited on-site parking is available in the patrolled lot at the rear of the Museum off Washington Avenue. On Target First Saturdays there is a flat rate of $4 beginning at 5 p.m.
