Yes, just the other day Rose said goodbye to the Christopher Eccleston version of the Doctor. I am trying to cope with this change; although I only knew him for one season, I came to like and know him as the Doctor! I haven't watched Season 2 Episode 1 yet, so I haven't even given the next Doctor a try... I will probably come to like him too... in time. I generally watch the Doctor on weekday evenings or weekends, depending on what else is going on. I'd be down to do a group meet-up! Sounds fun!

I just finished the first season of the six seasons on Netflix, to clarify haha And that is the only season I have ever seen. So I am not sure where in the Doctor Who madness I started lol. I haven't seen any of the spin-offs b/c I wasn't sure if they ruin things for me! I was thinking about watching those after I watch the six. I know what you mean about needing a sounding-board, it's just so much more fun!

Hi Joe, thanks for joining Outdoor Fun. We are a new group we have already had 3 events and everyone has enjoyed them. Sorry about the repeat questions. I started this because other groups seemed to be "moms" groups, I was what about us Dads and families that like to get out? We have a large area (LA County, San B, OC and Riverside) and expect people will just put events on the Calendar so to invite others with them. That is all "hosting" means. All that to say Welcome.
