Always one of the nicest arts events in town, a Katzen Center opening has become one of the signature evenings of The ArtHouse. We will gather first in the reception foyer there at 6, have some appetizers and a glass of wine or beer and socialize. Then at about 6:30, we'll head into the main gallery for perusing the three floors of excellent special exhibits - starting at the top. (For those interested, there is a gallery talk at 5 with artist Chester Arnold. These are always very interesting.)
Parking is free at Katzen in an underground parking garage at the Museum. There are also buses and a shuttle from the Tenleytown Metro.
Here's a link to the opening exhibits. If some folks would like go to Cafe Ole after, it usually makes a nice follow-up.
