Celebrate the fifth year of free live opera broadcasts at the ballpark with Mozart's masterpiece Don Giovanni on Saturday, September 29. The screening begins at 7 p.m. Regarded as one of the greatest operas ever composed, Mozart weaves the tale of the legendary rake Don Juan into a comically lighthearted (yet deadly serious) musical masterpiece. "A dark Giovanni of depth, beauty" (The Washington Times).
The forecast looks good! We don't have a definite leader yet - Richard has agreed to coordinate a bit but he'll need some help. This seems like a pretty easy event to pull off if a couple people can just bring a sign. They may also give groups of 10 or more reserved seats - and notice on the scoreboard! - so let's see how this develops during the week and we'll start a discussion among those who are going.
