Join us for the 17.30 screening of Margarethe von Trotta’s new film Hannah Arendt.
“The most important female director in Germany tackles a key period in the life of one its most influential political thinkers. Hannah Arendt was commissioned by The New Yorker to cover the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem. The book she wrote, based on what she witnessed, was published amidst a blaze of controversy. Margarethe von Trotta presents a complex portrait of Arendt who is played with utmost conviction by one of R.W. Fassbinder’s favourite actors, Barbara Sukowa.” – Renoir site.
