Salvador Dali and Fernand Leger. Dali because he had such a precise way of taking his seemingly scattered and disturbed thoughts, and putting them on canvas in a way that made them clear, concise, and very matter of fact. For all the detail in Dali's work and how intricate his pieces are, there always seems to be a clear, simple, and obvious truth in them all. It's calming to me... Fernand Leger, because he took something so rough and dirty as the beginning of the new Industrial age, and it's imagery and made it clean and crisp. His work gives me a sense of accuracy and precision, even elegance... I also love how he takes bold colors and contrast them against dull gray colors, allowing your imaginations and emotions to run free, but still keeps you in a perfect balance.
Honestly, I just saw in an email and the name grabbed me instantly, lol.
Absolutely!!! Just let me know! :)
Greetings everyone! I'm Lisa, and being from DC, I have such an affinity for the arts! It's the universal language of expression and perception, and I love speaking it, hearing it, and writing it! Look forward to "conversing" with you all! :)
