For anyone interested in checking it out...
Salsa @ City Hall is a free weekly Latin dance event taking place every Wednesday evening, July 2nd to August 27th at the Ottawa City Hall. It will be hosted outdoors on the Rink of Dreams if the weather is good, and indoors (Jean Pigott Place) otherwise.
The evening starts with a dance lesson from 6pm to 7pm. Come discover salsa, merengue or bachata, and learn from Ottawa’s best Latin dance instructors! All lessons are beginner-friendly – no dance experience needed! – and you don’t need to bring a partner.
From 7pm to 11pm, we open up the floor to social dancing. Show off your new moves to music selected by the best Latin DJs and meet Ottawa’s friendly Latin dance community!
To spice things up, we will have special guests every week – get ready for live music by Latin bands and singers, dance shows by local dance troupes, food vendors that will give you a taste of Latin America, and more fun surprises!
