This is the Sunday posting ... for those of you who (like me) can't make it on the Saturday ....
This year's edition of the Osgoode Medieval Festival is happening on the weekend of July 12th-13th.
The program includes jousting with knights on horseback, various types of armed medieval combat, a harp player, a medieval/Celtic music ensemble, and medieval-theme vendors.
"As well, 2014 will see the participation from the Festival of India and sharing of ideas between the two festivals."
The jousting is brought to you by the Knights of Valour (the same group that participates in the Upper Canada Village medieval festival). Assuming times are the same as 2012 and 2013, jousting happens in the morning from 11 a.m. to 12 noon and in the afternoon from around 3:15 to 4:15 pm. So it's best to get there in time for the 11 a.m. jousting start.
The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm.
