Fall Concert - Canadian Forces String Ensemble

Enjoy the talented music and vocals of ACO member Sandra, and her fellow musicians from the string quintet of the Canadian Forces Central Band, along with special guest Garth Hampson.

Concert begins at 2PM.

There will be a Reception, sponsored by a local business, following the concert.

Many a splendid formal function in Canada's Capital, such as Royal Visits and Governor General Investitures at Government House, has been graced by the appearance of this outstanding musical ensemble. Enjoy a lovely autumn afternoon concert with the Canadian Forces String Ensemble as they present a programme of well-known favourites as well as a few surprises!

When You Come to the End of a Perfect Day
a medley of Joni Mitchell songs
World War Medley (with Garth Hampson)

    Yes it was very good , very well attended. I can never find the group I spoke with Mandy from the group but unless we have a sign it is not easy to find you!!! Thursday at the play Cleopatra same thing, I wrote a comment to Victor but it goes to info meet up which no one reads so how do we write directly to the organizer.

    Almost perfect in skill and variety. The only exception was the female singer, who sang well but lacked the power to compete with her accompaniment.
