Then....this group is for you!

Our destinations are major and not so major museums, art galleries, art shows, and special exhibitions held at most museums and art institutions in New York. You will be exposed to post-modern, contemporary artists, as well as the whole history of art. We will also organize art tours at museums and art institutions outside New York.

We will seek out thinkers, writers and storytellers at universities, cultural institutions and other venues around the city and beyond.
We will share our own reactions, insights and thoughts in informal settings after the event.

At ART IS CULTURE we are not interested in those who use meetup.com to promote their own shellfish interests, run private business, want to collect moneys, do not have respect for others, and do not honor the spirit of what a community is. ART IS CULTURE is a community.

If you RSVP for three events (consecutive or not) and never show up, you will be removed from this group, and will not be invited to join again.
