I got 5.75 miles in about 1.45min I wish I could post the results from my phone but can't. I estimated 1/4 mile we walked in that I didn't turn on the Runkeeper app.

I also like hiking with my dogs off-leash (as do many others in this group) but this is a relatively flat, easy hike with wide, well-maintained paths where walking with a dog (or two) on the leash is not really much of an inconvenience. And supposedly the rangers give tickets.

As far as I know, dogs must be on leash within the NC Arboretum.

Oaky to bring my extremely well behaved dog off the leash? I will never be interested in hikes where I cannot do so. That's a bit of a caveat with me.
