Hi Michael--regret
fully a family urgency requires that I cancel for today's hike--I hope it's not too late for another to take my place if there's a wait list. Hope to catch this the next time around. --vb
Hi Michael,
I have been admiring your photos. I am also a wild flower/herb person. You had a couple of plants I have not had the pleasure of seeing, brown jug. I am interested in going on some of your hikes. How much in advance do you post them. I will arrange my work schedule around that,
I am going on a three day herb hike in two weeks so probably after that.
Thanks
Jen
Welcome Michael!
It sounds like you have LOTS to share. I look forward to meeting up with you soon!
Great photos Michael! It was great hiking with you and all your wildflower expertise!
Hi Michael, Welcome to WNC Kayaking! The best way to get started is with lessons, and we have a number of outfitters around (NOC, Endless river adventures, green river adventures, etc). Of corse, if you prefer to learn on your own, your welcome to come out on our beginner friendly trips. Mot of us have extra gear we can loan for the trips if you don't know what you'll want. Feel free to email me through my profile if you have any questions.
Hi, Michael. Sorry you had to work. Hope to see you at another hike sometime. Oh, by the way, I might make this a regular summer hike and encourage folks to bring their kids. (Thought from your picture that you might be interested.)
Hey Michael, Thanks for getting the hike at Julian Price Lake together. Great lunch at Coyote Kitchen too, and I'm so glad that Todd ended up having connections for your kids. Also, turns out that what is now the Hob Knob Farm Cafe used to be Tupelos World Cafe and before that my favorite vegetarian restaurant. It looks like it keeps on broadening the menu, but still looks yummy. I'll definitely try their new incarnation next time I'm in town.
Welcome to the group Michael. Maybe you can suggest some hikes. Hope to see you on a trail soon.
Michael,
What a well thought out hike. Thanks so much for your advanced planning. I am definitely a down hill hiker and have not hiked more than 6 miles at a time. This hike sounds wonderful. Is it dog friendly?
Hi Michael,
I've had an unexpected meeting come up and won't be able to be on the wildflower hike. I look forward to joining you in the future!
