Come, ye thankful people, come! Raise the song of Harvest Home! Join Byron Ballard and Jill Yarnall for a sweet and solemn rite to honor the time of balance that is the Autumnal Equinox. We continue to weave together the Pagan traditions of Western Europe with the earth-loving ones of our beloved Appalachia. "Harvest Home-coming" brings together the concept of Mabon as Harvest Home, a sort of Pagan Thanksgiving, and the old mountain custom of homecoming. We will begin to revision this holy day as the rightful doorway into the Ancestral time of Samhain. Join us on Saturday, September 20th, at 7pm at Mystic Journeys. A love offering is most welcome, with funds going toward the Temple Federal tax-exemption papers and the December Launch Party. As always, food donations will be accepted for Mother's Cornucopia Project, the Mother Grove's food bank, that distributes donated food directly to those in need in our own community. Please add this ritual to your calendar and join us as we turn the Wheel to a new time and a new set of energies.
