Blessings On The River

Come join us to celebrate this most ancient winding river, for our annual 'Blessings on the River' with an afternoon of Song, poetry, sacred drumming.

We will be joined by Annelinde Metzner's The Sahara Peace Choir who will be raising their voices along with the drummers of Wild Bodema and Mother Grove Goddess Temple.

We welcome donations which go to benefit Climbing Toward Confidence, a program of Our Voice, Asheville.

The location is Woodfin Park on Riverside Drive, starting at 4pm. Please note parking is limited so please carpool. For further information call Mother Grove on 828.230.5069.

I am going to try and make it - never been to that park before - does anyone know if its easy to find the gathering once there? I plan to take the phone number for Mother Grove with me hoping its a cell phone, in case I get lost. Only moved here a few months ago.

i have changed my response - unfortunately, as I am going to the OBOD East Coast Gathering, and still have a lot to get done before I leave, I just can't take the time. I'll see y'all at Samhain!

Hallo to all - I'm looking for a ride to Blessings on the River Sunday afternoon. Please message me if you can give me a lift - I'll be glad to chip in for gas!
I live downtown, quite close to 240.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
