Dumplings, wontons and potstickers!

Back by popular demand: dumplings one more time! We will have our chef demonstrate his famous Shanghai style wontons.  Then we'll use the same filling to show you how you can make them into dumplings and potstickers also.  Here's the repeat of our Meetup one year ago:

I think every country and culture has their own style of dumplings.  Learn how to make Chinese dumplings - boiled as dumplings or in wonton soup, or seared on one side as potstickers!  We'll teach you the difference, and the different kinds of fillings you can use for each.  See you there!

My second Meet Up - both excellent. Alice - you are a wonderful and enthusiastic instructor and Foodie! Can't wait til I try this recipe on my own; but will not be able to replicate the "double meat cleaver dumpling-making" trick, though. : )

Cooked the rest of the potstickers when I got home and my family loved them. My 3.5 year old who is a really picky eater ate 4 pieces. I was amazed. Will be making a batch next week! Thanks Alice and Chef Zhang for the fun and informative session. Looking forward to the next meet up!

I tried to pay online yesterday and it didn't go through but still counted, I think. So I may be counted. I know I tried to re RSVP and it said class was full, whereas prior to my attempt it said there was one place available. I can stop by about 2 today and pay if I can still get in.

    Stephanie,
I am not the coordinator but I thought I would chime in. I brought my daughter, 6 yo, to the spring roll class. She had a great time and is coming with me to this class.
