Hi and welcome!

This is a very simple Meetup group. It's for Asians who like dining out at all sorts of restaurants in the city. That's it.

Well...should probably explain a little more... If you're Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Indonesian, Khmer, Korean, Japanese, Lao, Malaysian, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Thai, Vietnamese or "Asian in Some Way" and would love to socialize and dine with other Asians, then this group is for you.

Why an Asian Meetup dining group? Because there are Asians who are interested in networking within the Asian community, experiencing their Asian culture and background, being connected to their Asian roots and environment, and/or expanding their social circles in the Asian community. And dining out is a good way to do all that at once! Don't you agree? :)

So we will try a different restaurant every time. We'll only go out on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights, only in Manhattan, usually with dinner starting at either 5PM, 6PM, 7PM or 8PM, in small to mid-sized groups. There are over 10,000 restaurants in Manhattan alone, so it'll probably take a while to try them all. The eventual goal is to have one Meetup dinner per week as this Meetup group adds more and more members...please be patient with this! If this is something that you would really be interested in, then please join...but only if you're really, really, really committed to this...or else you can't stay ;)

Girls, guys, ladies, and gentlemen, all are welcomed to join. Please try to include a photograph of yourself, unless you are really shy, running from the police, or your camera recently broke... :)
