Hi and welcome!

This is a simple Meetup group.

It's for Asians who like dining out together.

Why an Asian Meetup dining group?  Because there are Asians who are interested in networking within the Asian community, experiencing their Asian culture, expanding their social circles in the Asian community, and building friendships with Asians.  And dining out together is a relaxing and wonderful way to do all that at once.  If this interests you, then you are welcomed to join us.

Because this is an Asian Meetup group, you'll find our members are Asian-American, Chinese, Cambodian, Filipino, Hawaiian, Hmong, Indonesian, Khmer, Korean, Japanese, Lao, Malaysian, Mongolian, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Thai, Vietnamese or "Asian in some way" (having a cultural interest, background, admiration, appreciation, etc.).

We will try a different restaurant every time.  We'll only go out on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights, mostly in Manhattan, sometimes in Queens, with dinner starting at either 6PM, 7PM or 8PM, in small to mid-sized groups.  We'll focus on the inexpensive to moderately priced restaurants (one $ and two $$), nice little (and big) places.  Sometimes we will go to a bar/lounge afterward, or maybe do karaoke, or desserts, or something interesting.

So if you would love to socialize with other Asians, dine with other Asians, and have good conversation with other Asians, then sign right up!
