English Language Learner's Alliance (ELLA) Weekly Coffee Group

A lot of folks struggle every day with mastering the English language.  It affects their confidence, their ability to succeed in a business world, and the way others perceive them.

The English Language Learner's Alliance is a new non-profit organization with the goal of helping peoplle of all ages and backgrounds with practicing and improving their language skills at safe and friendly events including lunches, potlucks, coffees, museum outings, and day trips.  You can find out more about this group here:  http://ellalliance.org

This is a simple and informal gathering over coffee, tea, or other drink.  Everyone is welcome - young or old, married or single! Even if your English is perfect, you are welcome to help others practice their English.  Also, please pass along information about this group to your friends who might be interested.

The purpose is to encourage making new friends with whom you can practice speaking English.  Conversations will be casual, but we'll be sure to discuss topics related to American culture and traditions as well as English vocabulary, grammar, slang, and idioms.

Starting March 26th, we'll be gathering around 7pm for 2 or 3 hours of talk on Monday evenings at the Starbucks located in downtown Bellevue next to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore on 106th Avenue near NE 8th Avenue.  It is walking distance from the Bellevue Transit Center for those of you who travel by bus.

For those of you driving by car, there is free parking at the parking lot directly in front of the Barnes & Noble Bookstore.  You'll need to bring your parking stub into Starbucks where they will stamp your stub for 1 hour free parking.  An additional 2 hours of free parking is available by walking into the Barnes & Noble Bookstore where they will stamp the stub again (you do not have to buy anything!).

Alternative free parking is available nearby at the Bellevue Square Mall and the Lincoln Square parking garages.

Here is the Google map and information for the Starbuckshttp://g.co/maps/uugfr

We look forward to seeing everyone there for a warm and friendly evening of conversation!

P.S. - If you need someone to give you a ride to the Starbucks, please make note of this when you RSVP or contact us directly.  We'll do our best to find you a ride!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
