Moon Watching after Dinner at Salty's

From: Vivian S.

A friend just told me that Salty's is very close to Alki Beach Park, and the park will offer the best viewing point. Therefore, I propose that we continue the celebration at the park after dinner.

This is my plan:

6:30 -- 8:30 p.m. Dinner at Salty's Alki Beach

8:30 p.m. -- People that would like to continue the celebration will meet at Salty's parking lot and we will head on to Alki Beach Park. We are allowed to build a camp fire at the designated fire container on the beach. I will bring the fire wood.. I will need someone to help me get the fire going though. Any volunteer???? Alcohol is not allowed in the park. However, the traditional Chinese Autumn Moon Festival Celebration include a seasonal fruit called pummelo and moon cakes. I will be bringing some moon cakes to share with everyone.

The Moon Festival is a big deal in Taiwan while I was growing up and I look forward to celebrate it with my friends here.
