I have a 15 year old stepson with Aspergers. We are a blended family with my 5 own children. It is difficult for me and my children to understand the priveledges given him with "Aspergers" as the reason. So I simply want to know more about it...
It is a great organization and group of people... This atmosphere is quite different than that of the social atmosphere at Fuel Pizza which is more of a social gathering, critical for those dealing with Aspergers. This MeckPromise meeting provides an open atmosphere for individuals to address their everyday concerns and get feedback/support from their peers. This is non pressure, open forum, supports discussions, feedback and relevant dialog. I am grateful for this opportunity and continue to learn so much from various individuals and families. I highly recommend it for anyone touched (directly or indirectly) by Aspergers. Lou Kozar
