ASTA, short for the American Society of Travel Agents, is the world’s largest association of travel professionals. Our 20,000-plus members include travel agents and the companies whose products they sell such as tours, cruises, hotels, car rentals, etc. We are the leading advocate for travel agents, the travel industry and the traveling public.

The American Society of Travel Agents’ mission is to enhance the professionalism and profitability of member agents through effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training, and by identifying and meeting the needs of the traveling public.

The purpose of this meetup group is to get local agents and industry members to socialize, discuss industry trends and of course travel together.

We especially encourage young travel professionals to join our group and help us create a local YPS (Young Travel Professionals Society) chapter.

If you are an active travel industry member or a future graduate of the Travel Agent Academy this is the right group to join!
