Yoga is an ancient practice with benefits for everyone - no matter your age, size, or background. Yoga practices strengthen and open the physical body, help counter the effects of stress, and bring a deep sense of inner peace.
Jennifer's classes are taught in a flowing (vinyasa) manner, focusing on the breath both within and between postures. Each class includes asana (yoga poses), relaxation, and breathing and meditation exercises. All students are welcome! Beginners will find foundational instruction and modifications as needed; more advanced students will be given the opportunity to explore deeper variations - all within a warm, welcoming environment. Jennifer Marks has been a yoga practitioner since 2006. She received her teaching certification (250 hour) from the North Carolina School of Yoga in 2011. Yoga is a passion and a way of life for Jennifer, and she looks forward to the opportunity to share it with others. All levels are welcome and please bring your own mat.
