Here we go again! I am early this month. It's only June 16th and I'm updating this for the July meeting. It's almost 4 weeks away. Again, my thanks to everyone who came to the June meeting. Great to see you again and to see so many new faces. I'm really looking forward to seeing and being able to talk with each of you more. A special thanks to Robert Blaschke for sharing info from UAC. For July, Spencer says he'll be there and hopefully he'll have more to share. So, what does the chart for July 13 at noonish look like? It's a cardinal chart this time. That is cardinal signs on all the angles. Libra rising, Cancer on the MC. We have 5 planets above the horizon and 5 below. We have Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto retrograde. Moon is past 1st quarter in early Sagittarius, conjunct the Black Moon. Again, it is a bit of a see-saw with a grouping of 5 planets in houses 9-11 and another grouping of 5 in 2-6. We have a separating Mars Saturn conjunction in Virgo, Venus in early Leo and Mercury in Cancer in the 9th, conjunct the MC. July 4, 7:18 pm Washington DC time is Americas solar return. The MC for the solar return is 17 Libra 10. The ascendant for our July 13 meetup is 13 Libra 10. The solar return has Mars applying to a conjunction with Saturn in Virgo in the 9th. The Sun is applying to an opposition to Jupiter, 7th to 1st. Looks like the new Moon was just a couple days earlier. Retrograde Pluto is back in Sagittarius. How optimistic are people? How optimistic is the government and business? Recent news items of some interest. May is the first month in which US and Allied casualties in Afghanistan exceeded those in Iraq. Is the war shifting? Is it because things are getting better in Iraq or are they getting worse in Afghanistan? Maybe by the 13th we'll know. Who will be the Vice Presidential candidates? How will they influence the voters? What do the charts of the Democratic and Republican conventions look like? Maybe I'll bring some for discussion. Remember, bring your chart or charts. If you have any questions, requests or suggestions, please let me know by Thursday before the meeting so I have time to prepare something. Remember, I'm the Virgo (want to be of service) with all the Libra (trying to make everyone happy) planets. See you at this months meetup, Sunday, July 13th, noonish at: Starbucks 9718 Washington Blvd. & Culver Blvd. Culver City As usual, I'll try to get there before noon for the early crowd, but for those who would like to come by later, I will hang around as late as I can. If you get there first, grab us a good spot. If it's like the previous meetings, we'll quickly grow to 2 tables. If the weather looks bad, I'll make reservations for the Funnel Mill. Here's my cell phone number if you want to call me or if you want to call on the day of the Meetup to see if I'm there or still there; Jim Schultz[masked]-4417. The Funnel Mill is located at 930 Broadway, Suite A, Santa Monica. They do have some really nice teas. They would reserve the seating area in front for us if we call and let them know on Saturday, assuming someone else hasn't reserved it. If you are in the neighborhood, check it out and see what you think. Broadway is south of Santa Monica before Colorado and it's between 9th and 10th. It's on the south side of Broadway. That said, we're still open for ideas. Go out. Look up. Be sure to check out June's full Moon on the evening of the 18th. Watch it as it rises. My how big it is! Take care. Be safe. See you Sunday, July 13th, 12 pm PDT! I may add some more to this as I look at the charts. Jim

Any chance this group could meet on the third Sundays instead of the second? I want to attend but have an ongoing scheduling conflict.
