SEPTEMBER'S STAR PARTY.

From: ron
Sent on: Tuesday, September 20, 2011 9:25 AM

It seems inevitable that the star party that was to be scheduled for tomorrow will be cancelled due to the significant cloud cover that has moved into our area, which was predicted as early as last week. For next season, I will try to work out a more flexible arrangement with NYC Parks in which we will have more flexibility in our scheduling allowing us to take advantage of periods of good weather. In the meantime, I would like to remind all members and friends that when the weather is good, there is usually observing activity open to all going somewhere in the city, at almost any given time. Go to aaa.org (Amateur Astronomy Association of NYC) for observing times and locations. For additional information call[masked]-4567.

Thank you for your interest throughout the season.
