I have been a member of the Vancouver Centre of the RASC since 1977 and am a past president of the centre. This is the group of people to be in contact with if you're interested in Astronomy.
If you are interested in Astronomy, here is a great way to find like-minded people.
For the first in my life I used my bios. with out having to ware glasses tomorrow I go for final ckeckup in Abotsford. Life is good thank
for being a freind. Howard you Know???
good question - GOTONOVA. I don't think there is a model # - VTC put it on my EQ5 mount and printed the manual off the web for me. Operates off 12v, I can plug into my vehicle dash outlet plus I bought the 120/240 to 12v cable. So long as I am close by Georgina, my motor home I have power without lugging batteries around.
Sigh - how romantic - I'll have to find a virtual friend online to share Earth Hour, got a bloke in Scotland :)
I like Hilkka very much, now I know how to spell her name!
Really - awesome! What free program do I need to download in order to do this or is it built into the iOptron? I just read the manual Thurs in a pub at UBC. I don't have a Planetarium program and am running Vista. I'll check out the ECU website. I had a copy years ago but never upgraded. How do I align if no stars visible or am I being thick?
