It was great that us "A" wordist could say and hear the "A" word. Unlike the politically correct "N-T wordist" Sunday Assembly.

I thought N-T might be non-theist. It's only a more acceptable term among the weenies who can't bring themselves to self-identify as or say the word "atheist." Wimps. Wussies. Wannabes. Any others I'm missing?

I had an awesome time. This event was even better than last months event, and everything felt like a real improvement. Especially the comedian, who was absolutely funny. And there were some good music, and great speeches as well. I loved it! :)

The news is out: Don and his Godless Revival House Band were the stars. Everybody raved about Don's singing, his band "Jehovah's Favorite Choir," and *surprise!* Don also got raves for his TALK! There's something about his down-home, folksy way of talking to an audience that everybody loved. We have witnessed the birth of a new star in the Atheist firmament! We appreciated the comedian and speaker Rich Woods but Don is the one who tugged at our heartstrings. Congrats, Don, for a job well done, for being the kind and gentle soul that you are and for setting th skies on fire with your talent!

Comedy is Atheist because nothing is sacred in comedy.

Cezar, it might be a good idea to bring your Born-Again wife to a more sedate Atheist event first. We have plenty of Atheist educational lectures and discussions where she would get to know our principles and ethics. This event, where liquor is available at the bar, could get a little scatological or indelicate, since we don't believe in censorship. And remember, in comedy, "nothing is sacred."

Michael, Cezar says his wife is a "Born Again" Christian. I have a Born Again daughter, so I know that once they commit themselves to fundamentalist Christianity, they tend to focus with disapproval on what they consider the negative things in our fun-loving events. I suggested to Cezar that he take his wife to a less boisterous event FIRST, then bring her to our more free-wheeling party. ButI'm sure Cezar knows his wife best and what she is comfortable with. Plus, he may want a boys' day out while she is in church.

Yes, the born-again part might make it difficult for her to enjoy, but I'm not sure. Whatever Cezar feels is appropriate. We try to be welcoming of everyone.

I've never been to any party like that and don't know what to expect, therefore I don't know if it would be appropriated for her to attend and to get a "wrong" idea of what we do and are.
I attend to some church stuff with her sometimes, since I do love her and our kids and it still important to her...

Would it be ok to bring my born again wife with me for her to get to know how we think and behave?
