There are strong secular, Atheist and skeptical lines throughout the film. The 1968 film is the first in a series of eight films, with a new movie just release with rave reviews.

COST:      FREE, but we ask you to purchase food/drink to compensate Stone Creek. Their knoshies & beer are better than in most bars.

    Interesting, but I never before thought of this film as pro-atheist but now I realize: of course! No religious film would ever have the nerve to imply that apes have the potential to evolve to nearly human.
