Memorial Service for Eric Broze

Eric Broze passed suddenly late Friday night/early Saturday morning. It was quick and the cause is still currently unknown. He was only 43. He was my husband, my best friend, my everything. It would mean the world to me to have the support of the local community. There will be a bar and some type of snacks (not sure yet). He would have wanted people to celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. Well, I can't do that but I can try!

He would have also wanted a super-atheist memorial. Prophet John Whiteside will be officiating it. So, if you can make it, please do.

Thank you to everyone for making this memorial the best it could possibly be. I spent 10 wonderful years with Eric and it's nice to know he touched so many lives like he did mine.

Eric was fun to talk with. I enjoyed his stories. He was very excited about spreading the truth about religion and showed it by spreading the word and listening to our community and their speakers. His smile would spread around any room he was in. I will miss him as we had planned to meet at the American Atheist convention in Salt Lake City. I was looking forward to getting to know him better. I feel sorrow for Rose as she lost a great man.

I am new to the Atheists group, but in that short time I know I have finally found "my people". From what I read of Eric, his loss to us is a great one. It would be my honor to commemorate his life. 43, so young, so sad.
