Comedy with Jimmy Dore at Palace station.

What day and time is best for you this weekend to see Jimmy Dore perform? You can choose more than one.

What date should we have the next book group discussion?

Thanks to all who came to the inaugural Burning Bush Book Group discussion. We agreed that the next book should be The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman, and we tentatively decided to hold the discussion on Feb. 2, 2008. BUT, I was thinking that if we have a meet up outing to see the movie in the next couple weeks (I am going to organize it, stay tuned), then maybe we should hold the book discussion sooner so everything is fresh in our memory. The book is around 400 pages. Do you think you can read it by mid-January? See below for the proposed dates and please vote on your choice. You'll notice I skipped Saturday Jan 26th as an option. We have plans and can't do that date, but the others are fine. Just vote and let me know what you prefere. Thanks, Sarah
