Let's do another game night. We had a good time at the last one. I'd like to make this a regular social event for the Worcester Atheists.

I've got some card games and board games. Feel free to bring games, snacks and/or beverages to share.

I will send my address to anyone who RSVPs "Yes".

I found an FAQ online for Shadows over Camelot that clarifies some rules.
Good news: When you receive cards for completing a quest they are face up and the players on the quest decide how they should divvy the, up.
Bad news: If a knight leaves a single combat quest (The Black Knight, or Lancelot's Armor) then all white cards are removed from the quest and discarded.
Arthur can only exchange a card on his turn.
A Merlin played to negate a standard black card can only be played on a player's turn against the last black card played.

It occured to me afterwards and the best strategy for playing King Arthur is not to go on quests, but to stay in Camelot to support the Knights on their quests. Arthur should draw cards and pass useful ones to Knights on their quests. Knights pass back numbered cards or Merlin cards which Arthur uses remove Siege Engines.

Another useful strategy is to make your treason accusations in the first few rounds, before completing any quests. If every loyalist accuses the person on his left of treason, then the traitor will be uncovered early.

That's a great idea David. But you HAVE to perform a heroic action each turn and your special ability doesn't count toward that, so as soon as you maxed out at 12 cards you would either have to fight a siege engine or go on a quest.

A fantastic 50th meetup for Worcester Atheists. Quite by accident it turned out to be paranoia night. :)
First, resistance fighters were trying to root out the spies among them. Then, townspeople were trying to identify and execute werewolves before they all became dinner. Lastly, the Knights of Camelot had to fight Picts, Saxons and the Black Knight while questing for the Grail, Lancelots armor and Excalibur while at the same time trying to identify the traitor undermining them.
Its too bad that Larry didn't make it. I would have been interested in reading his blog post.
I like that the last 2 meetups we have played games brought by new people. Its a good way to get to know someone.
With so many awesome and fun games, it will be difficult to decide on what to play next!
    Can't wait until next time!

It was fun. We beat Shadows Over Camelot. Turned out, Brian was the traitor. By the time he started working against us, it was too late.
