Introduction
I'm relatively new to Iowa having moved here in 2007. I grew up in a fairly secular environment in Anaheim, CA and lost any belief in the supernatural a few years after I did in Santa. Looking forward to meeting some like minded people!
Favorite book?
Out of books of interest to this group, I like Creation by Gore Vidal for fiction, God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything by Christopher Hitchens for a polemic, and any of A.C. Grayling's collections for something more thought provoking.
Favorite movie?
Blade Runner
Atheist, agnositic, neither, or both?
Atheist. I have no belief whatsoever in the supernatural, and find the search for natural explanations to the wondrous complexity around us to be very "spiritual".
