They are handing out wristbands for potential open seats that are numbered, I want to go, worth a try!

Kellie has a parking pass and we have two extra seats in the car, so if someone along the 99E wants a ride let us know.

I don't know what PSU is doing for parking for this event, but there are several parking garages downtown that are a short walk to the campus and the pub. I live nearby and walk or take the streetcar everywhere.

Sounds like a plan. Park there, have dinner and a beer (they do have great beer!) and walk over. Do you know if that location has parking?

Hey Sharon, McMenamins Market Street Pub is at 1526 SW 10th Ave. I've never been to the Smith Ballroom, but Google says it 0.3 miles and a 6 min walk. The pub is just off the campus, so it can't be far if Google is wrong. I'll probably show up around 5:00. They have some great microbrews.

I'm game. This will be my first meet-up with this group too. I'm also new in town. Is that McMenamin's close to the location of the lecture?

Hi, I'm a recent transplant from Florida. I live downtown Portland and haven't made it to a meet-up yet. How about we meet for an early dinner or drinks at McMenamin's Market Street Pub before the lecture?
