I just moved to Portland from the buckle of the bible belt where I helped run a freethought group. I don't really know anyone in town, so I'm looking forward to meeting some people it looks like I have a lot in common with!
Hi Kasi, welcome to SMART!
Welcome to RR Portland Kasi! I hope to see you at a meet-up soon. ~ Tally
Thanks Kasi! Apparently I needed the experience. lol So far things look good but there is more testing to be done. I'm actually way to young for this or so I've been told several times now. I just can't wait to get my stamina back. Looks like the weather is gettin in the way for tomorrow. Maybe I'll find a way to get to the next one. I really need a babysitter. Maybe they grow on trees. Boyfriends don't but who knows, maybe baby sitters do. lol Take care and hope to see you later!
Help me out here Kasi...give me some input on this topic.
Haha...sorry about that! Oh, say hi to DeLana for me, and tell her it was great to have such a long a conversation in Klingon. I was afraid it had become a dead language.
Sorry for the late response, but it was good meeting you as well. Looking forward to the next meeting!
Ok, ok, so now I'm curious. Who would DM? :)
Hi Kasi! Thanks for the greeting. I do plan to start attending meetings once I get settled in. I was raised Mormon, so I know what it's like to deal with religious relatives, especially when you first leave.
Btw, that floating trip sounds like a blast! I hope I can make it. I'm looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the group!
Hey Kasi - thanks for joining and welcome!
It's funny you should post about how to deal with family issues - that was actually a big topic last weekend and there were many discussions about it from different folks. I'd love to meet you, and I'm sure you'll have a blast - as you would imagine, we're a pretty quirky but relaxed group! ;-)
