Activism Videos and Round Rock Graduations

Howdy again, Joe Zamecki back to let you know about some activism. First,
here are some videos and a blog post from recent events:
NDOP Protest in Texas
Pope Protest Washington DC
Bill Moore Walk

Second, I'm planning on attending the graduation ceremonies for all four of the
high schools in the Round Rock Independent School District, on Saturday, May 31,
at the Frank Erwin Center in downtown Austin. I went to one of the graduations
at the FEC last year, to monitor the benediction.
I want to do the same thing this year, for all four high school graduations on May 31.
Would someone like to join me? I'd prefer to do this sort of thing, and not alone. I'll
probably videotape the benedictions, just in case something unforseen occurs.
For those who don't yet know, Round Rock ISD has been at the focus of an idea to let
the graduating class vote on whether to have a benediction at their graduations, and
last year, three of the four graduating high school classes in that school district voted
to have a benediction, and one voted to not have it. I went to one that had a benediction,
and it was interesting...and a bit insulting as well. This year they're not allowed to vote,
so I don't know if they're going to have a benediction or not.
So who will go with me this year? Also I'm planning on having a Summer Solstice Bar-b-que
at the pool area where I live. Swimming, beer, live music...all we need is you! :o)
