What about Central market on Lamar?  The food is good and you can get it at the cafe...or get a 6-pack and some crackers from the grocery.  All the tables are outside so standing and mingling is not an issue.  Also, bonus....there is a play ground so those of us with kids can actaully participate without the "mommy let's go" interuptions.

Hello, everyone. Our next meetup is in a couple of weeks and, while
Waterloo has been a great host, I fear we may have outgrown the place.
I haven't really come up with a suitable alternative, though, so this
is where you come in. I need some suggestions on a new place(s) to
have our meetup at. There are two competing characteristics I would
like in a suggestion:

1. Decent food to eat for those of us just getting off work (generally
implies sit-down restaurant).
2. Room to mill about, mingle, and socialize (generally implies stand-up bar).

How to reconcile those ideas? I'll leave that up to you. We may have
to go with more of one than the other, so feel free to suggest
anything and I/we will take it into consideration. You can post your
suggestions back here to the mailing list and/or I'd like to discuss
the possibilities at the meetup.

Also, I want to give my sincere thanks to Edward and Elze for taking
and uploading photos of the last meetup. Check them out!
