Re: [atheists-8] Request for venue ideas/Thanks - Since a couple of people have asked, we're still meeting at the 38th St. Waterloo for the meetup tomorrow. I was asking about possible venues for September, so no (possible) change until then. See you all tomorrow. Chris Chris H. Aug 18, 2008 5:57 PM

Re: [atheists-8] Request for venue ideas/Thanks - We could always meet at the Waterloo Icehouse on 6203 N Capital of Texas Highway. Pros: + Kids have playground + Plenty of outdoor space for good weather + Indoor space for bad/cold weather + Beer and food. Cons: + It might be a little too Chris Aug 15, 2008 9:47 AM

RE: [atheists-8] Request for venue ideas/Thanks - I just went to a Meetup at the library near Cool River off of Parmer Lane. It was a tech meetup and we didn't need table service, but they have a nice, big meeting room that I think you could bring food/drinks into. Another thought. A little north fo Benjy P. Re: [atheists-8] Request for venue ideas/Thanks - We did actually used to meet at Central Market and it was okay, but I think most everyone back then preferred the move to Waterloo, my take being that people preferred the table service, atmosphere, and better beer selection. That doesn't preclude going Chris H. Re: [atheists-8] Outdoor venue? - Central Market does have room for a decent number of people inside, too. Especially if you want to take over the upstairs balcony overlooking the main eating area.
