Always like the meetings. I get a chance to talk with different people and it's always fun. I also really enjoyed doing the Atheist 101 piece.

Fun! The time went by so quickly, though :( . I would've stayed longer, but I had to rush to Voices of Reason rehearsal [cheap plug--we especially need sopranos]!!!

A wonderful gathering with friendly, interesting people. The food and conversation were fabulous, and I really appreciated the effort AU event organizers made to include a space for children and young families! Thanks, Rachel!

Unexpectedly able to attend, will bring wine in exchange for some good beer! Looking forward to meeting new people. Hopefully I won't be turned away at the door since I can no longer RSVP!

@Michael - That sounds good, thanks! Since they'll be kids around, please put it next to the BBQ grills so there'll always be an adult next to it.

Is there any interest in beer? I'll bring a keg.

At the moment, all my best potluck recipes are stuff I myself cannot have. So I might have to look up a new one to try out on everyone. I will be bringing a silly card game called We Didn't Playtest This At All. It's simple and a blast.

    June 18, 2012

  • Alexis C.

I'll bring a savory dish of truth, a refreshing order of knowledge and free thought for dessert : )

    June 18, 2012

  • Jolie

I will bring Gazpacho, stuffed celery sticks, and if I have time: shortbread cookies.

    June 17, 2012

  • Sandra C.

I will bring a corn/bean/avocado/tomato salsa, AKA cowboy caviar, and corn chips

    June 17, 2012

  • Juan G.

    Hi Michael,
BBQ is more family oriented, got it. Sorry, this is my first BBQ with this community. I will bring potato salad.

    June 15, 2012

  • Michael K.

@Juan - You're welcome to bring wine but, in the spirit of potluck, please bring enough to share with other members. Also, since children will also be at the party, please find me so we can put the wine in a kid-safe place.

    June 15, 2012

  • Michael K.

I forgot to mention that this is also a potluck party.

We are encouraging members show off their specialties and bring their favorite potluck item to this party.

We're going to have 4 grills and we need a couple volunteers to help cook. Would anyone like to volunteer to help with the BBQ grills?
