The solstice that marks the onset of summer, at the time of the longest day, in the northern hemisphere. Join us in celebration of nature with a BBQ party and fun games.
There'll be good food cooking on the BBQ while we play card and board games with each other. The event will be very casual. Start a game yourself, join others, help out with the BBQ or just sit and talk with other members.
Ingemar will host a game of Bridge
Diane will host a game of Hearts
We'll also have a few other decks of cards to play other games with.
Bring your own game
You can bring your own game but please keep in mind that we can't be held responsible if pieces are lost or broken.
We encourage members to bring their favorite potluck item to this Summer Solstice party. Once a year we like to provide the opportunity for our cooks to show off their specialties.
