This is a group for anyone who would like to move more easily and feel calmer and lighter. We look at everyday movements, like sitting in a chair, standing, walking, as well as speaking or singing, and learn how to make them more effortless, more flowing, more efficient and quieter. Everyone can learn to move gracefully and well. Many people come because of back pain, some because they want to bring more ease and flexibility to their yoga, dance or sports practice or other skill (playing a musical instrument, singing) and some because they value the quietness of mind that Alexander brings. Alexander is wonderful at relieving stress, and learning how to stay calmer in stressful situations. Most of all, the groups are fun, welcoming and supportive.
