Global Earthquake Activity: Mechanisms Predictions, and Forecasts (Fundraiser)

Dr. Andrew Newman, Assistant Professor, School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, The Georgia Institute of Technology will give us a short talk on earthquakes. Dr. Newman teaches earthquake physics and other related courses. When he speaks to us, he will be fresh back from seismological research in the Solomon Islands.

We will start with a buffet at 6 p.m. The cost will be somewhere around $7 (details to follow). We will have a selection of ways to donate (text, on line and checks to the red cross). Again details to follow.
