Savannah River Hidden Gems Paddling Event
Explore the last remaining shoals on the Savannah River
Sept 7th ~ 8 am – 4 pm ~ Augusta, GA
Not only will there be a kayak fishing workshop for those who want to learn the special techniques of this fun activity but also awe-inspiring presentations about the plants and animals that reside here, the history of the area, and ways that you can get involved in water quality monitoring and river cleanups in your community.

Where: Savannah River in Augusta, GA (The stretch we are paddling is 3 miles and has beginner class 1 rapids.)
