The plan is to meet up at put in, Johnson Ferry boat ramp in the Chatahoochee National Recreation Area, on Saturday (Nov 16) morning at 0900 hours. We will drop all gear at put in, proceed to take out (Paces Mill boat ramp) with as many vehicles as possible, return to put in with as few vehicles as possible, and enjoy this 7-mile run replete with wee rapids . We will take at least one break to enjoy lunch near the pallisades. For those unfamiliar with the NRA, you need a season's pass (25 bux), a daily pass (3 bux)--or to leave your vehicle at home. Dress for the weather, of course, and for the water as well in the event that you think that you may go for a little November swim.
