Please join me at the Azalea Drive location for the epic Sweep the Hooch event on April 12, 2014. I will be team lead for 30 paddlers at this paddle in/paddle out location. That means no shuttle and a great day on the water. We may see the Atlanta Rowing Sculls and other fun sights during the day while we scour the shores from our boats. Please bring hydration in whatever form and if you eat often, please bring your own snacks!
The day will be from 0900 in the morning until 1pm or so in the afternoon. Bags and other equipment are provided but BYO Boat, paddle and PFD. PFD's are required to WEAR for the day. No ifs, ands or buts.
Please RSVP here and THEN go to www.ucriverkeeper.org/sweep-the-hooch.php to sign up OFFICIALLY with the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. For participating in the clean-up you will be granted a one year membership in the Riverkeeper worth at least $35!
We will have fun and you will be provided with specific information as the day draws near! Note: You are not signed up officially until you go to the CRK website and register!
