ACA Moving Water Instructor Certified.
A mix, but mostly rivers. I paddle flat water, lakes and mild rivers, little bit of white water, sea, heck, if it floats a boat I will try it.
I try to paddle at least twice a week, more if I can. I paddle year round, snow and ice are our friends.
Occasionally.
Very diverse group both in age and experience. Grandmothers and grandfathers, young paddlers, middle aged paddlers. Paddlers with over 40 yrs experience, paddlers who barely know which end of the boat was supposed to go down the river first. But everyone is friendly, helpful, courteous. All the things you need to make an experiences on the water fun for everyone.

Hi, John. I posted a comment to volunteer for the BBQ this Saturday at Canoe, but haven't heard anything.
Hello John,
I just found your group looking to join the Summer Splash next weekend. I've never had official kayak instruction, but I've enjoyed some beginner type kayaking for a few years now. Looking forward to next weekend and meeting new people on my first trip on the Hooch.

Hi John. I just joined the group and happened to click on your profile to see if it was the John Miller I know (you're not) -- but I look forward to getting to know the art of kayaking through you. Take care
Hi John,
Nice meeting you yesterday.
Talked with Patricia, and she is looking for an upgrade. If she is thinking of selling her perception, could you have her call me? Robin-[masked].
Hope to start getting out there with your group soon. They seem like very nice people!
John - you are the best! My son and I kayak'd with you on the Hooch (near Duluth, GA) last Summer and look forward to repeating it again, shortly, this time, with a few of his friends in tow as well!

John, thank you so very much for the wonderful experience you provided Noreena and me on Wednesday. Your great teaching style made learning seem easy. But your wonderful personality made it all the much more fun and enjoyable. I thought you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks but you proved this old dog wrong. Like Noreena said we are hooked and will be seeing you and the group much more in the future. Thanks again turning us on to this great sport!
