What do you do if your boat flips and you are swimming?

Hello folks,

Many of you have taken both my basic and intermediate classes but many of you have not.  If not, please consider a class.  Professional instruction will make you a better paddler regardless of your experience level.

The intermediate class we are doing on Saturday Sept 22nd will be the last one we do this year.  If you plan on paddling with us on some of our Fall or Winter trips or even early Spring then don't miss this class.  The colder the water, the less time you want to spend in it.  At the end of the Intermediate class you will be able to empty the water out of an overturned boat and be back in it in less than a minute (most paddlers!).  When you can do that, cool weather paddling is really a lot of fun.  And it is fall and winter when SE rivers have water in them.

Here is a link to the class:

Hope to see you there,

John Miller, ACA Kayak Instructor
