Welcome, Atlanta Belly Dancers!

Meet other local individuals to share the joy of belly dancing and discuss costuming, shows, dancers, styles, etc!

No experience necessary; only a love of the dance.

We meet at events, once or twice a month as a group and we keep in touch via the web to keep up to date on what is going on in and around Atlanta. Check out the calendar!

Kira and the Cross-Cultural Dance Company are proud to be able to contribute our time, energy and probably a good amount of sweat to help bring you Shimmy-a-thon 2009! Building on the hard work that Wendy Darsey began in 2005 we will continue to help Shimmy-a-thon grow and succeed.

Shimmy-a-thon benefits The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). CFF is a donor-supported, nonprofit organization – is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis (CF) and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.
